Transition
When our children move from one Key Stage to another we aim to develop a close partnership between the two year groups to ensure a smooth transition so that the learning continues.
We have created a number of projects based on a story that encourages children to talk about their feelings and engage with books through exploring and re-enacting the stories themes and messages.
The project is shared with the families of the children in a celebration afternoon in early September to ensure strong links with parents/carers built in the previous Key Stage, continue to grow in the next year group.
