Curiosity Cove

Have you ever visited a school that has its own museum? Why not visit Arden to see our incredible Curiosity Cove?

Our museum-style corridor is a captivating space: designed to ignite curiosity and instil a passion for learning. It features a thoughtfully curated collection of genuine artefacts and high-quality replicas, providing all children at Arden with a unique and immersive educational experience as they walk through it each day.

Our Learning Environment leads meticulously maintain the Curiosity Cove, constantly refreshing the collection with new treasures to maintain an engaging and exciting atmosphere whilst reflecting the curriculum areas children study during their time here. Museum-quality labels tell the stories of the artefacts, making every trip down the corridor a mini adventure.

The collection, generously gifted to us by the Stockport School Library Service upon its closure, includes a wide array of items that enhance our curriculum and bring children's learning to life.

We encourage our children to engage with these artefacts. We want children to get up close to pieces of history, to feel the texture of an ancient tool or marvel at the detail of a fossil.

The Curiosity Cove is more than just a beautiful display; it is an interactive journey through time and knowledge, sustaining children's natural curiosity and inspiring all of our learners to explore, discover and engage with the world around them.
