Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome to the website of Arden Primary School

It is with great pride and excitement that I welcome you to Arden Primary School - where every child is cherished, supported and encouraged to achieve their full potential.

At Arden, we know that children get one chance at an education, and it is our responsibility to ensure we get this right. We are proud to combine academic rigour and high standards with exceptional pastoral care. Our ambitious and exciting curriculum nurtures curiosity, resilience and kindness in every child, preparing them for a future full of possibilities.

From the moment children receive their special Golden Ticket upon joining Arden, they become part of a caring and supportive environment where every individual is valued and celebrated. Through initiatives such as Family Lunchtime, where children come together to share meals as a school community, and My Happy Mind, which promotes the wellbeing of all our children, they build meaningful connections and develop important social skills in a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. These experiences, alongside the support of our wide range of pastoral groups, nurture programmes and exceptional SEND provision, contribute to the strong sense of community, resilience and joy that underpins everything we do at Arden.

Our school is a vibrant and inclusive community where each child is treated as an individual and supported by a kind and compassionate team of staff (Ofsted, 2024) who are committed to every child’s wellbeing and development.

Our stunning school grounds and beautiful, calm classrooms are very special indeed. You are welcome to visit us at any time to experience the warmth, energy and sense of belonging that make Arden so unique. I like to conduct school tours myself, so please do get in touch if you would like to arrange a visit.

We take pride in developing a love for learning in an environment that is both nurturing and stimulating. Whether through our rich and varied curriculum, our extensive range of extra-curricular activities or the outdoor spaces we use to inspire creativity and exploration, we strive to provide a truly engaging and holistic learning experience.

At Arden, we view parents and families as essential partners in this educational journey. We believe that strong relationships between home and school are key to the success of our children. By working together, we can ensure that Arden remains a place where children feel safe, confident and excited to learn.
