Nursery
The Nursery gives the children an exciting and stimulating start to their education and an excellent grounding before their education continues in our Reception classes.
Each child's Learning Journey highlights learning and achievement in all the above areas and indicates the next steps for learning.
Our 40 part time Nursery provides a challenging, happy and safe environment in which children learn through structured play and first hand experiences.
The children learn to co-operate as part of a group which is an important step in their social education. Each child is treated as an individual and encouraged to make independent choices and decisions whilst learning about the world around them and the feelings of others.
The curriculum is varied and imaginatively designed by the Foundation Stage team of teachers, nursery nurses and teaching assistants. Through our approach, children are involved in the early stages of many curriculum areas.
