Salary: Scale 4 £19,960 pro rata actual salary
Hours: 33.75 per week
Working Pattern: Term Time plus 3 days (8.30am -3.45pm Monday-Friday)
Contract type: Permanent

The Governors wish to appoint a pro-active, enthusiastic and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and supportive team at this expanding primary school, which Ofsted once again judged to be a Good school in July 2024.
The successful candidate will work closely alongside our existing team implementing agreed learning activities/teaching programmes to individuals and groups of children to support our inclusive ethos.
The successful candidate will:
Be able to relate and form positive relationships with primary age children.
Be child-centred in their approach.
Be experienced, patient and empathetic and use their initiative when working with children
Be sensitive and patient in their dealings with children who have significant special needs and who may, at times, present challenging behaviour.
Be able to support children with special educational needs on a one to one basis.
Be knowledgeable about, or interested in, working with children who have autism and or profound and complex learning and physical difficulties including complex health needs.
Be able to take a full part in the school's programme of continuing professional development.
Undertake lunchtime supervision.
