Another wonderful week!
Our school is just buzzing at the moment with excitement and achievements and I wanted to use this week’s blog to share just a few of the highlights that have made us all so proud.
Today’s celebration assembly was, as always, a joy. It’s a time when we come together to reflect on the wonderful things happening within our school and beyond and it’s becoming a real highlight of our week. A special mention must go to Oliver in Year 2, whose fantastic coding achievements amazed us all - not only that, he spoke so confidently to the whole school about achieving the Yellow Belt at Coding Club. Well done, Oliver - we are all very proud of you.
Another moment that filled the room with pride was when Lilly performed Electricity from Billy Elliott. Her confidence and talent bowled us over, and we are all eagerly awaiting her performance at the AO Arena on Monday 27th January in the BBC’s Night of Musicals. What an incredible achievement, Lilly - we are cheering you on every step of the way (don’t forget us when you’re famous!).
These are just two of the many wonderful examples of the talents and passions our children pursue, both in school and beyond. As Acting Headteacher, I love hearing about the amazing things your children are involved in, and I would be delighted to share their achievements during our weekly assemblies. If you have something to share, whether it’s a special award, a performance, or a unique hobby, please don’t hesitate to email us at admin@arden-primary.co.uk. Photos are always welcome too – they add such a personal touch to my assembly presentation, and it’s fantastic to see what our pupils are achieving outside of school.
Celebration assembly is such an important part of our week. It brings us together, reminds us of the amazing community we’re a part of, and allows us to celebrate the many ways in which our children shine. I look forward to hearing more of your stories and celebrating even more successes in the weeks ahead.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support. Wishing you all a restful and happy weekend!
