Happy New Year - and welcome to our new blog!

I’d like to extend a very warm welcome back to everyone in the Arden community. I hope you all enjoyed a restful holiday and had a wonderful time with your family and friends.

This term promises to be full of exciting learning opportunities. I am very much looking forward to working in my role as Acting Headteacher, following Mr Briggs' retirement at Christmas, to support all of our children in reaching their full potential.

You will notice that we are making some slight adjustments to how we keep in touch with you. At the end of each month, a school newsletter will be sent out via SchoolPing, published on our website and also on our Facebook page. Our aim is to share more about your children’s learning, highlight their accomplishments, provide upcoming calendar dates and ensure everyone is up to date in a format that I think you'll love...watch this space!

Additionally, I will be posting weekly updates here, on our new Headteacher’s Blog. This will allow me to share news, assembly themes, updates on school initiatives and our children’s achievements with you in one place. I hope you will find this to be a valuable source of information and connection as we work together to make the rest of the school year a success.
